Tornado Leaves Heavy Damage in Dallas County | Walnut Hill Lane & Harry Hines Boulevard Worst Hit

A tornado slammed through the several localities in Dallas, leaving a trail of grave damage on Sunday night.

Neighborhoods in and around around Love Field were badly hit. No injuries had been reported by 11 p.m.

Intense storms were still passing through Dallas, Collin, Hunt and Kaufman counties. The National Weather Service have issued a warning of possible high winds and hail.

Raw videos posted on twitter showed a large funnel cloud over the city as the tornado cut across the counties.
Photos showed numerous structural collapses and heavy damage to vehicles and homes.

Heaviest structural collapse were reported from northwest Dallas, at Walnut Hill Lane and Harry Hines Boulevard.

In some areas buildings were flattened. Walnut Hill Lane and Monroe Drive are amongst those.
supposed to land in Dallas just as the tornado was spotted near Love Field.

Many planes supposed to Land at Dallas airport have been redirected to the Lubbock Airport.
